The beautiful 6061 T-6 Billet UFO Vmax 1 inch Bar Risers are just the ticket for bringing your bars up and back juuuuuuuust a bit more.
Wow ! It only took 25 years for someone to come up with a properly machined 1″ riser for the Vmax.
Three good reasons.
1.You get better ergonomics as you do not have to lean as far forward when installing dragbars.
2. You keep better clearance for your switch housings to tank cover.
3. With stock bars you bring the bars back a bit to sit more comfortably in the saddle as well.
One hell of a program for the machining of this piece to fit all the stock contours of the stock handlebar base and cap but here it is!
Comes fully polished for you hotrodders however it can be scotchbrited in minutes to match the stock finish of your OEM base and cap. (just don’t put the scotchbrite pad back in your wife’s soap tray after using it.) Comes with (4) new longer mounting bolts. No other components necessary for a simple 10 minute installation. NO need to extend cables, wires or hydraulic lines. Just plug and play!
We’ve recently added another option to the Bar Riser line up. The UFO Vmax Premium Adjustable bar risers adjust height 2 inches center to center, fit in the stock 7/8 bar mounts, and accepts either the stock 7/8 bars or our UFO 7/8 drag bars. Even at the lowest adjusted position it lets the switch housings clear the tank shell much more than stock. These offer the most flexibility for adjustment wether you are a over 6 foot tall or just barely 5 feet.

I got the adjustable risers installed along with a new set of drag bars. I am 6’2” and the stock bend and pull back was killing my lower back on longer rides. I always seemed to be hunched over when riding. I felt an immediate improvement after installing the adjustable risers. Much better Ergo’s(arm reach and body posture) when sitting on the bike after install. My back is gonna thank me and Jon for another great product from UFO.
