UFO Performance Products extended swing arm gives you the stretch needed to keep the power on the ground. We add bracing to beef up the swing arm structure that will handle the power from just about any application. The extended swing arm is also notched to accommodate a large tire for added grip and an improved look.
We offer two options, 1) Braced and Notched only, 2) Extended 6″ over notched and braced and we’ll give you the shaft (pun intended). In other words the extended drive shaft is included.
With a notched UFO arm you can sneak up to a 190/55/17 or 18″ tire into place with no other mods.
You can go with a 200/55/17 or even a 7″ slick if you offset .100″ with a shim against the drive. For example, John Friends bike has a 200/55/17 Avon Storm mounted on our 17×6.25 Airframe UFO wheel.

I finally got around to really putting it to the test the performance of my new UFO braced/chromed swing arm. While out on some of the more aggressive group rides, with other Gen-1 V-Max owners that have no fear of throwing their bikes into corners at a higher rate of speed then the bike was ever designed for. I found myself easily able to follow suite, of course I can’t let those youngsters think I’m getting old & slowing down LOL. All of my previous handling issues such as back-end wobble/digging effects of the rear tire while in a hot lean are now gone. This swing arm is not only a high-end tech piece but it also has the performance to back it up.
