I am writing this comment not because Jon Cornell paid me or what ever bullshit. I am living in Malaysia and the very first time I ever comunicated with Jon was on the internet to place an order for th Jekyl & Hyde exhaust system from him. The system is really superb...it out beats any pipe like Yoshimura or any Japanese sounds...The power is scary. I encounter some problems on the bike after the installation of the exhaust and Jon was so obliging to assist me even though he does not know who the hell I am. Now he also assisted me with getting hold of the sevice manual for bike. I am only saying generally to all you guys that have any dealings with Jon....Not only is Jon a proffesional businessman but he is a helpful friend. Nobody is perfect...but at least I know he is trying his level best to assist all his clients even though some of us are so arrogant. Does not mean that you have the money you can be such a awful client...Jon thanks once again and good luck for 2012 and the following years

I got the adjustable risers installed along with a new set of drag bars. I am 6'2'' and the stock bend and pull back was killing my lower back on longer rides. I always seemed to be hunched over when riding. I felt an immediate improvement after installing the adjustable risers. Much better Ergo's(arm reach and body posture) when sitting on the bike after install. My back is gonna thank me and Jon for another great product from UFO.

Hi Jon!I just wanted(belatedly) to thank you for the quality of the Carbon Fibre scoops that I bought from UFO recently. They look great on the bike, and I've had a lot of comments about them, and envious looks!I fitted the stainless inserts with screws as discussed with you, after I gave them a mirror polish, what a difference! Also, the price and speed of delivery were, quite honestly, unbeatable!Thanx,I'll try to send a photo(or two)soon.Regards from Australia.Dave

Sir Jon of Cornell.........

.........4 the benefit of others reading this post, as U know I purchased the UFO Stealth System with the intention of retaining my OEM pipes 4 its unique character. My principal reason 4 the purchase was 2 enhance the sound from the stock "Singer Sewing Machine" bleating 2 a deep throat growl so pleasing 2 my ears. Mission accomplished & suffice 2 say, I am more than pleasantly ecstatic with the results. Not only does my Max now sound like a true muscle machine, it has a huge abundance of snot over stock performance. Fantastic! Frankly I was not prepared 4 any increase in power 2 the extent it has now developed. I happen 2 enjoy a fairly strong grip but I must confess since I installed the system, there have been a few incidents where the damn machine wanted 2 jerk right out from under me. Freeing the back-pressure generated by the stock system greatly improves the torque or I should say massive torque. An added feature is the comprehensive installation instructions guiding one thru the process with some degree of ease.

I also purchased the UFO 2" Drag Link that has been a blessing 4 my 30" challenged inseam. It's nice 2 B able 2 solidly plant my feet @ traffic lights 4 a change.

Then I added your handlebar risers 2 the list & it has been a relief of comfort notwithstanding. It even looks stock given its look-like appearance.

Next purchase will B the UFO Fuel Mgmt System 2 fine-tune the performance. I much like what I read as U draw comparisons 2 a Power Commander.

Jon, I've been very pleased with R association & damn glad I heard about UFO & your improvement products 4 the Max. 2 B sure, I will highly recommend UFO 2 others. C'est la vie.

Hi Jon
I have just started riding again after my shoulder operation. (nearly 5 months off). The updated (Mark 2 ?) side kick stand that you supplied me with is outstanding. The extra material you added to widen the foot print is spot on. It is much more stronger and less prone to sink into soft ground. Well done on updating a product that a customer (me) had a problem with. Many thanks

Hey Jon, What a biography, what a life full of history and future. Project T-Max ??!! UFO is my favorite shopping stop for my MAX. Your VMAX has that black engine image I like. Must be the pipes doing it. Your favorite movie represents you I guess? Like your quote: " often imitated, never duplicated" Thanks Jon for bringing the VMAX to the highest levels it can get. Erroll Kort, Curacao - Dutch Caribbean.

Jon THANKS THANKS THANKS!
on 23/12 I got the full system exhaust megaphone 2"1/2... Christmas day I installed it on my bike, and ... and... unbelievable! the sound it emits is similar to an earthquake; breaks through the sky; to turn on the bike is like a thunder fall to your side;
Simply the best!

Jon, thought I'd pass on a funny story.

I dropped my 2010 off at the local Yamaha dealer on Tuesday to get the oil pump recall taken care of. They called me late Wednesday afternoon to tell me it was done.

I went in this afternoon to pick it up, and while I was there I went to shoot the breeze with the head tech, I've known him for 16 or so years. The last time I talked to him was when I went in to get the parts ordered for the recall, he had a Gen2 he was finishing up and two more waiting. We walk outside and he looks at my bike, here's how our conversation went:

"What did that guy do to this thing?".

Who?

"The guy who worked on it". He had this strange look on his face.

Exhaust and a custom tune.

"This is the first Gen2 I've ridden that has vBoost".

HUH?

"It runs normally up to about 4,000 RPM, then it goes CRAZY! I've never ridden a Gen2 that runs like this! Are you sure that's all he did".

I watched while they did it, it took them maybe half an hour start to finish.

"man, that thing's insane, but the exhaust is a little......."

Obnoxious?

"yeah"

Normally I'd agree, but it sounds awesome.
