This bike is a one-off piece built by Jon Cornell. Completely street legal and purposely built to kick A$$ on the street. Bring on your Jap bikes, bring on your West Coast slugs, as well as your Somebody-County choppers. This bike has shut up many mouths bigger than their dyno numbers. This Hot Rod was originally built with a 95” twin cam engine that made a true 131 hp at the rear wheel. So much for the Harley dealers and wannabee Speedshops that run to the magazines when they make a miserable 100 hp. THIS BIKE MADE MORE HP THAN THE 95” RECORD HELD AT THE DAYTONA AMI BRUTE HP SHOOTOUT DURING BIKE WEEK!!!
If that is not enough, this bike has many time slips documenting 10.50 quarter mile times manually shifting and 10.30’s on the custom air shifter. The swingarm is specially fabricated to be filled with air and act as an airtank for the horn button electric over air shifter. With this air shifter you could shift normally all the time with the foot shifter until the next A$$ with soon to have, empty pockets, rolls up next to you at a light. Light to light this Hot Rod will leave the other guy with his pants down. Jon recorded many 60’ times in the 1.40 second range. Try that on your Jap bike or thought-u-were-cool chopper. Unfortunately for his competitors, that wasn’t enough. For the 2002 season, Jon swapped the 95” motor for a 107” motor. This one put out around 150 hp, and ran this bike into a 9.95 quarter time at 135.88 mph. Now, who’s your Daddy?
The bike had an AutoMeter Pro Tach with shift light. Baker Reverse pattern shift drum, Baker shift forks, and completely Pro back cut transmission. The wheelbase is 68”. People advertise bikes as “Pro-Street”, yeah right here, buddy. This bike was built with a Ceriani inverted fork, custom built super light Airframe wheels, rotors, and sprockets. The swing arm was fabricated from 4130 Chromemoly, like any high end race car chassis. The stock rear fender was stretched to match. The exhaust is a one-off piece engineered and tuned on the dyno in a three step 2/1 configuration to match the engine design formula.
(NOTE: This one will take the other guys title AND his girlfriend as a bonus!!!)
